Riwāyah of Qālūn ʿan Nāfiʿ

Transmitted by Rāwī Abū Mūsā ʿĪsā ibn Mīnā al-Zarqī al-Madanī (d. 220 AH)

The chief student of Imam Nāfiʿ in Madinah. Nāfiʿ affectionately called him 'Qālūn' (meaning 'good/beautiful' in the Roman tongue) due to the exquisite quality of his recitation.
