Qirā’ah of Ibn ʿĀmir al-Dimashqī
Imam ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿĀmir al-Yaḥṣubī al-Shāmī (d. 118 AH / Damascus, Syria)
The venerable Imam of recitation in Greater Syria (Al-Shām) and Chief Judge of Damascus under the Umayyad caliphs. He recited to Abū al-Dardā’ and learned directly from the Mushaf sent by ʿUthmān ibn ʿAffān to Damascus.
شام کے امامِ قراءت اور دمشق کے قاضی القضاۃ۔ انہوں نے جلیل القدر صحابی حضرت ابو الدرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے براہ راست قراءت سیکھی۔
शाम के इमाम-ए-क़िराअत और दमिश्क़ के क़ाज़ी। उन्होंने सहाबी हज़रत अबू दर्दा रज़ि. से क़िराअत हासिल की।
