Riwāyah of Al-Dūrī ʿan Abī ʿAmr
Transmitted by Rāwī Abū ʿUmar Ḥafṣ ibn ʿUmar ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz al-Dūrī al-Baghdādī (d. 246 AH)
A monumental scholar of recitation who has the distinction of transmitting canonical riwāyāt for two different Imams: Abū ʿAmr al-Baṣrī and Al-Kisā’ī. His transmission from Abū ʿAmr is historically dominant in Sudan.
