Adam عليه السلام was the first human and the father of humanity. Allah created him, taught him the names, commanded the angels to honour him, and placed him and his wife in Paradise. After their mistake, Adam received words of repentance from Allah and was forgiven. His story establishes human dignity, moral responsibility and the door of sincere tawbah.
