The Qur'an Revealed on Seven Aḥruf

The Prophet ﷺ received the divine revelation and was granted permission for the Ummah to recite according to seven authorized transmitted modes (Ahruf), accommodating authentic dialectal expressions without altering meanings.

حضور نبی کریم ﷺ پر قرآن مجید کا نزول اور امت کی آسانی کے لیے سات احرف پر تلاوت کی اجازت عطا ہوئی۔

Standardization of the ʿUthmānī Codices

Caliph ʿUthmān ibn ʿAffān (RA) unified the Muslim community upon canonical codices written in the unpointed Quraishi rasm that authentically encapsulated all verified mutawātir recitations taught by the Prophet ﷺ.

Ibn Mujāhid Formalizes 'The Seven Readings' (Kitāb al-Sabʿah)

Imam Abū Bakr Ibn Mujāhid authored 'Kitāb al-Sabʿah', formally selecting seven master Imams whose integrity, memory, and consensus in their respective cities were indisputable.

امام ابن مجاہد نے 'کتاب السبعۃ' تصنیف فرما کر سات مشہور ائمہ کی متواتر قراءات کو منظم صورت میں مدون کیا۔

اندلس کے عظیم امام ابو عمرو الدانی نے قراءاتِ سبعہ کا معتبر ترین خلاصہ 'التیسیر' مرتب فرمایا۔

امام شاطبی نے التیسیر کو 1173 اشعار پر مشتمل مشہور قصیدہ 'شاطبیہ' میں نظم کیا جو آج تک درسِ قراءات کا بنیادی ستون ہے۔

Imam Muhammad Ibn al-Jazarī, the Seal of Qirā’āt Masters, verified and finalized the Ten Mutawātir Readings and their hundreds of authentic Turuq in his encyclopedic work 'Al-Nashr'.

خاتمۃ المحققین امام ابن الجزری نے قراءاتِ عشرہ کی تمام مستند اسناد اور طرق کو اپنی شاہکار کتاب 'النشر' میں یکجا کیا۔
